The AEROTELECOM business forum is an initiative of the Castelldefels School of Telecommunications and Aerospace Engineering (EETAC) of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), establishing a bridge between its university talent and companies in the surrounding industrial and technological sectors. .
Next Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
It is held in the C4 building of the Mediterranean Technology Park, best known for being the building where the EETAC is located.
Any EETAC student is more than welcome to participate in all the talks and activities related to the event.
The ideal thing, especially if you are in the 3rd or 4th year of your Bachelor's or Master's degree, is to have your updated CV on hand so you can give it to companies if you are interested in what they can offer you.
The only activity that requires registration is the Speed Recruitment, sign up as soon as possible. Last year the places were filled in less than two hours.
The main activities will be the two talks that we have prepared for the students in the morning and the Speed Recruitment in the afternoon. Finally, at 5 p.m. we will have the Afterwork Event where you can chat with companies in a more relaxed way.
You can see them in more detail in this link.
In total we will have 25 companies, you can learn more about them and have their link to their corporate website in the section Companies of this web page.
You can ask for internships, learn more about their talent programs, learn first-hand what the company's philosophy is like, etc. That's why they come, companies are looking for talent. Show them all your qualities.
During the main part of the event (11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) there is no class. Therefore, you will be able to be at all the talks, visit the various company stands and participate in the activity of Speed Recruitment.
The event is organized by EETAC students, both from telecommunications and aerospace majors. Student volunteers who are part of the organization receive 1 ECTS credit.
Of course! To do this you just have to send us an email to forumerotelecom.eetac@upc.edu showing your interest in participating for the next edition, AEROTELECOM 2025.
